Introducing House Form 08.11.25
Andrew and James, Managing Directors of House Form
House Form was launched this year to develop creative, well-considered designs for new homes and extensions. Working across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire and Warwickshire, we create houses and extensions that are simple, elegant and cost-conscious - homes that make sense for our clients, their families, and their surroundings.
House Form is led by James and Andrew, two architects with an abundance of experience. An ARB Registered Architect, James brings extensive experience in bespoke residential design, with a career dedicated to creating high-quality homes that reflect the individuality of each client.
James’ approach balances creativity with a practical understanding of construction, ensuring that design aspirations are translated into built reality with care and precision. At House Form, he looks forward to continuing this focus, bringing fresh insight and leadership to projects, while championing design excellence and client-centred service.
Andrew is an architect with experience delivering bespoke homes across the South and East of England. Before relocating to Cambridge, he was part of the award-winning team at AR Design Studio in Winchester, where he worked on high-quality projects tailored to complex briefs and sensitive sites. He then developed his expertise at MCW Architects, focusing on modern construction methods, digital tools, and sustainable design principles.
As a Certified Passivhaus Designer, Andrew brings specialist knowledge in creating homes that are exciting to live in, energy efficient, and comfortable. Through House Form, he offers accessible and sustainable home design at a more personal scale.
And we have our Non-Executive Direct Matt, previously the owner of Cocoon Architects whom we have merged with. Matt is an architect based in Ely, specialising in sustainable and sensitive new build houses and extensions. Before merging with House Form, Matt ran Cocoon Architects for nine years, and he now helps to guide the business as it continues to grow.

Our approach is rooted in context. We carefully study each site, its surroundings, and opportunities for natural light, warmth, and connection to landscape. The result is architecture that feels personal, practical, and sustainable. Homes that are designed to work beautifully today and into the future.
If you’re thinking about starting your own project, we’d love to hear from you.
